Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
This is a Japanese magazine advertisement for a “Face Slimmer”. It’s a device made of soft plastic that you slide into your mouth and use at least three times a day while reciting the vowel sounds of the alphabet. Many young Japanese girls believe using this device will eventually make their face appear thinner and more narrow. The device cost $50.00 From our Western point of view, people see this as something more provocative.
Reposted via my friend Ami from Japan now in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

Song about small town gossip. I love her boots and mini dress!!!! The canned laughter comes in at one point as that is a photo of 20th Century comedian Bob Hope. This performance was ripped from an episode of The Bob Hope Show originally aired on NBC on the night of October 14, 1968
I always wanted a room like this…. had a life close to this at one time…. but more dirty around the edges…. maybe a return and up a level in 2012. Click to see the video. I have no idea why my Tumblr can be so weird.

So so bad it’s good…. this was actually a top pop hit in the U.K. and Japan. Rebecca Black has nothing on this…. to me anyway.
